Originally the FM repeater was working with the callsign DB0MN from
the location Kürrenberg above Mayen.
It was built up and run by the DARC regional group OV-Mayen, K47.
Later it moved to the location "Gänsehals" near Bell.
After that the callsign changed from DB0MN to DB0MYK.
At nov 04th 1987 the licence for the Packet-Radio-Digipeater DB0QT
was granted.
At the beginning of 1993 the responsibility and ownership of the digipeater
DB0QT moved to the Packet-Radio-Group-Mittelrhein. Shortly after that the
responsibility of the FM-repeater DB0MYK also moved to the PRGM e.V..
This group already took care for the repeater since severalö years
before.
In February 2006 - after a change in the laws - all stations at the
location Gänsehals were changed to the same callsign DB0MYK. |
